How to Project Plan

Retainer Posts provide a simple & sturdy solution to all fencing / landscape projects, Raised flower beds, compost heaps & retaining walls.

As a rule of thumb, your Retainer Post should be a minimum of 150% of your proposed height above. Ground – so a 1000mm tall wall would need our 1600mm long Retainer Post. 

Almost all projects use standard sleepers – 100mm thick, 200mm tall & 2400mm long. Sketch out an aerial diagram of your project with the posts at 2400mm centres for maximum efficiency of the sleepers.

TOP TIP  – TO ADD STRENGTH TO YOUR WALL, CONSIDER THE NEXT LONGEST POST OR ALSO WORK WITH THE POSTS AT 1200mm CENTRES – EXTRA POSTS WILL ADD STRENGTH TO YOUR FINAL PROJECT

Off the shelf, for next working day dispatch, we hold generous stocks of the end posts, intermediate Posts & 90* corner posts – ranging from 800mm long rising in 200mm increments up to 2400mm Long posts. We can also supply bespoke posts on request.

TOP TIP – MAKE ANOTHER CUPPA AND TRIPLE CHECK YOUR POST REQUIREMNTS AS ITS MUCH SIMPLER TO AMEND AT THIS STAGE THAN WHEN THEY ARRIVE !!!
